Remove Sametime icon from the System Tray

To remove the Sametime icon from the system tray when your Lotus Notes 8.5 client is launched :

1. Edit the plugin_customization.ini file in Notes :
at c:\Program Files\lotus\notes\framework\rcp\plugin_customization.ini
or c:\notes\framework\rcp\plugin_customization.ini

2. Add the following line:
com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.application/useSystemTray=false

Once this is done, close Notes and launch it again. This should work.
